Scorched Descent
Scorched Descent was my 2nd-semester project. The theme for that semester was Tribute to games older than the oldest team member. Ours was a tribute to Gauntlet (1985).
Scorched Descent is a top-down dungeon crawling game, where light and darkness play a big role. The dungeons are dark and you need your light to see enemies, but some enemies can’t be seen in the light. Collecting treasure and delving deeper into the dungeon.
I learned a lot working on this game, as I was the lead programmer and did all the gameplay programming on this project.
